Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is one of my FAVORITE fantasy books. I hope you love it! Mill on the Floss has been on my “classics to read before I die” list forever. And yes, there is just something so satisfying about spending weeks immersed in a book. I read The Count of Monte Cristo over several months in 2023 and freaking loved it. One of my favorite big books ever.
My reading resolutions: Read 75 books (like you, trying to set a very achievable/low-stress goal), read at least 12 classics, and read consistently off my owned TBR (how much will vary by season, but I’m aiming for roughly a handful a month).
Hey, is it okay if I link to this article in my upcoming 2024 book reviews post? I follow you on tumblr (thetremuloushand) and my substack is progresspunk :)

I'm so excited to get started, and omg - I forgot that Count of Monte Cristo is also very much on my TBR, I adore the film!
I'm hoping to stick to my owned TBR and really make a dent in it, too. Harrowing thought, especially with AWP coming up lol. We can do it!
