Micro Review: Leaving Chang'e On Read

The pink cover of "leaving chang'e on read," decorated with a series of pale yellow splotches. The title text is in a lopsided oval shape, poured by the silhouette of a milk carton.

Hi all, and thank you so much for your continued support! Popping in to post some notes on/a micro-review of Jane Shi’s Leaving Chang’e On Read (Rahlia’s Ghost Press, 2022). This will be, I think, a primary text that I use in the fourth chapter of my dissertation, on transMadness and speculativity + particularly speculative poetics.

As a longtime writerfriend & queercrip comrade, I’m delighted to share my thoughts on Jane’s chapbook in what I hope to be a longer series of microreviews.

This review, as with the others I plan to do, isn’t incentivized or solicited. I just feel like it! If you want to follow more of my reviews, sign up for a paid subscription. Those who cannot afford one right now are welcome to contact me for a sliding-scale or compensated subscription.
